Trine University Theatre - Arsenic And Old Lace 11/6/23

Lou Ann Homan, Sage Scherxzer, and Sean Carpenter join WLKI's Andy St. John to tell us about The Trine University Theatre Department production of "Arsenic And Old Lace".

Performances will be at 7:00 pm on November 9 and 11, and 2:00 pm November 12.

All shows will take place at Ryan Concert Hall in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are $10 for the public, $5 for students 18 and under and free for Trine students.

"Arsenic and Old Lace" is set in the 1940s and centers around the homicidal Brewster family. The women in the family believe they are doing the men in their lives a favor as they commit acts of murder. Based on a true story, "Arsenic and Old Lace" is a dark comedy that was made into a movie in 1944.
