Thanks to FIST’s Jed Mortorff and Emma Blotter for joining Andy St. John on WLKI 100.3.
They want you to know FIST Students will team up with Trine University Student Government representatives and visit neighborhoods in Fremont, Hamilton and Angola this evening, October 28, to Trick-or-Treat For Canned Goods from 6–8.
The non-perishable donations will go directly to local food pantries in support of Fremont Youth and Community Outreach and Project Help.
If you turn on your porch light and place the canned goods outside, that will be very helpful.
FIST is a youth philanthropy organization founded by the Dekko Foundation under the direction of the Steuben County Community Foundation. Students from Hamilton, Angola, and Fremont become members as eighth graders and remain through high school. Each school has an adult representative. The focus of the group is to promote philanthropy among young people.
