Lindsey Walden - Angola Walmart, Doug Call - Angola Fire Chief, Lee Greenamyer - Metz Fire Chief, and Scott Lehman - Building Commissioner/Fire Marshal City of Angola Building Safety Department, are with WLKI's Andy St. John to tell us about the importance of having an operating smoke detector in your home.

Hear how every Steuben County Fire Department and Angola Walmart will team together and giveaway smoke detectors on Saturday, October 14 from 8 am - noon, while supplies last.

Properly installed and maintained smoke alarms are considered to be one of the best and least expensive means of providing an early warning of a potentially deadly fire and could reduce by almost half the risk of dying from a fire in your home.
