Angola’s Cruise to the Monument – 2025 Recap with Mayor Dave Martin & Retha Hicks

Mayor Dave Martin and Economic Development & Planning Director Retha Hicks join WLKI’s Andy St. John to reflect on the record-breaking 2025 Cruise to the Monument. With over 450 vehicles, strong community turnout, and seamless coordination from city departments and volunteers, this year’s event was a major hit.

They highlight the importance of community support, local sponsors, and the legacy of car enthusiast Dan Campbell, in whose honor the event is held. Hear how this event brings Angola together and why it keeps growing year after year.
