The Journey to Becoming a Northeastern Indiana CASA Volunteer 9/15/26

Kristi Bachman, Executive Director of Northeastern Indiana CASA, joins Andy St. John on WLKI 100.3 to discuss the critical work of Court Appointed Special Advocates and their mission to give children a voice in court proceedings involving abuse or neglect. Bachman explains how volunteers from all walks of life are trained through a 30-hour program to advocate for children and make recommendations regarding their placement, education, medical needs, and overall well-being. She also highlights the lasting impact of CASA volunteers and Northeastern Indiana CASA's 40 years of service to children across Steuben, LaGrange, Noble, and Whitley counties.
