KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WLKI)- Northeastern Center has added three leaders to its health information, finance and quality-improvement teams.
According to The Herald Republican, Liz Germano has joined the organization as health information manager.
Germano will lead Northeastern Center's clinical and electronic medical records team.
She earned an associate degree in health information management technology from Ivy Tech Community College.
Germano later received bachelor's and master's degrees in health information management and administration from Western Governors University.
She is also a registered health information administrator and has experience managing the release of medical information for health care organizations across the country.
Alyshia Umber has joined Northeastern Center's finance team as reimbursement compliance coordinator.
Umber earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in business administration from Purdue University Fort Wayne.
She brings 11 years of finance experience to the position, including seven years working with nonprofit and behavioral health organizations.
Alysha Neumann has been named Northeastern Center's quality improvement coordinator.
Neumann will help manage quality standards and reporting metrics across the organization.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Cincinnati Christian University and is a registered behavioral technician.
Before joining Northeastern Center, Neumann worked in the behavioral health field for more than seven years.
Northeastern Center is a community mental health center serving DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties.
The organization provides outpatient therapy, medication management, substance-use treatment and inpatient care.
Its services also include adult residential homes and crisis assistance available 24 hours a day.
Northeastern Center operates 12 locations and has served northeast Indiana since 1977.
