(ANGOLA) - Portions of Calvary Lane and County Road 50 North in Angola will be temporarily closed Saturday morning for the 8th Annual Youth Triathlon sponsored by the YMCA of Steuben County.
The roads will be closed from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, to provide a safe route for children participating in the bicycle portion of the race.
Calvary Lane and County Road 50 North will be closed between Hammel Drive and County Road 100 East. Public safety personnel will be stationed at both ends of the closure to direct traffic.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use an alternate route. Steuben County Emergency Management recommends Mechanic Street and County Road 20 North as a detour.
