(FORT WAYNE) - Seven northeast Indiana baseball teams secured sectional championships Monday night and advanced to the regional round of the IHSAA state tournament.
In Class 4A :
Snider beat Carroll 4-1.
Huntington North defeated Homestead 5-2
In Class 3A:
DeKalb claimed a sectional title with a 10-5 victory over Angola.
Norwell also advanced after defeating Bellmont 10-2.
In Class 2A:
Bluffton routed Woodlan 14-0
Lakeland defeated Central Noble 11-5
Eastern beat Wabash 3-0.
In Class 1A:
Blackhawk Christian beat Canterbury 14-4.
Regional games are scheduled for Saturday, June 6. Regional pairings and site assignments will be announced Wednesday.
