(ANGOLA) - A former Steuben County judge and longtime attorney is endorsing Tracy Quinn for prosecuting attorney.
In a written statement, Randy Coffey says his decades of experience in the courtroom--including time as a magistrate judge, chief public defender, and deputy prosecutor--have given him insight into the role.
Coffey says he has observed the current candidates both inside and outside the courtroom and believes Quinn has the experience, integrity, and judgment needed for the position.
He adds that Quinn will carry out her duties with a focus on justice and protecting victims.
Coffey is encouraging voters to support Quinn in the upcoming May 5 primary.
