Kristi Bachman, Executive Director of Northeastern Indiana CASA, joins Andy St. John on WLKI 100.3 to celebrate 40 years of advocacy for children in need.
As Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), volunteers serve as the vital voice for children navigating the court system due to abuse or neglect. Kristi explains how anyone can become a "light" in a child's life and invites the community to the upcoming CASA Palooza at the Sylvan Cellars Event Center & Tasting Room in Rome City.
Highlights of CASA Palooza:
- Tasting Stations: CASA Palooza features a variety of tasting stations hosted by area caterers, restaurants, wineries, and more! Enjoy local favorites like St. James, Mad Anthony's, and Vino.
- Live & Silent Auction: Bid on items ranging from spa packages to a child's electric Jeep, with auctioneer Kurt Bachman leading the fun.
- The Mission: 100% of the funds raised support the training of advocates to help change a child's story.
