(HAMILTON) - The MSD of Steuben County says one of its school buses was involved in a crash this morning on County Road 300 East near Hamilton.
In a statement sent to families, the district says emergency personnel responded quickly and that the situation was handled with the safety of students and staff as the top priority.
School officials say the parents and guardians of every student who was on that bus were contacted directly.
The district added that if a family did not receive direct contact from the school, their child was not involved.
MSD says the incident remains under review, and the district is continuing to work with the appropriate authorities as more information is gathered.
No additional details about injuries or what led to the crash were immediately released.
