Most area high school football teams in Indiana ended their regular seasons Friday night.
Eastside finished its first perfect regular season since 1990 with a win over Angola. The Eastside Blazers beat the Angola Hornets 49-14.
In Ligonier, West Noble gets past Prairie Heights, 26-12.
The Central Noble Cougars shutout Garrett 8-0.
Churubusco blanked Fairfield to finish unbeaten against NECC Big Division schools.
The prep football weekend will carry on into Saturday, when Fremont will host Lake Station for a 1 p.m. opening kickoff.
As the Michigan high school football season continues, the Bronson Vikings secured a hard fought varsity football shoot out victory over the Quincy Orioles Friday night, winning by the score of 40-28.
Reading takes second in the Big 8; defeating Homer 20-6
