A former bus driver for the Bryan City School District has been sentenced on a reduced charge of disorderly conduct after a child was left on a bus.
Court reports say that 49 year old Victoria Rummel of West Unity, was initially charged with endangering a child concerning a incident back in December when 3-year-old was left on a school bus in the bus garage after procedural checks were allegedly not followed.
Two other employees, an administrative assistant and a bus aide, were not charged as part of the Bryan Police investigation, but were temporarily suspended by the district.
Rummel’s charge was reduced during a pretrial hearing in Bryan Municipal Court last week.
