Michigan Gov. Ends Taxes On Tips

(TRENTON) – Michigan has eliminated taxes on tips. Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed the bill into law in Trenton on Thursday. The average restaurant server will save about $200 per year because the change. The bill also removes taxes on overtime pay, which will save workers about $900 annually on their state taxes.
