(COLDWATER) – A report of a stolen bicycle led to the arrest of a person on several charges.

At 8:24 AM Sunday, the Coldwater Police were sent to a residence on Morse Street regarding the theft of a bicycle. A man matching the description of the person who took the bike was located riding a bicycle on East Chicago Road near Vans Avenue.

Coldwater Police Sergeant Bryan Regan tried to make contact with the subject, who fled the area by cutting through business parking lots. The suspect then jumped off the bicycle and ran away from the area.
