ANGOLA - A 12-year-old boy from Angola was added to the INverse Indiana Poetry Archive.
In a statement provided by his mother, Cruz Everage is one of the youngest poets in the state of Indiana to be added to the INVERSE Poetry Archive.
Cruz is the son of Colleen and Craig Everage.
"INverse celebrates and preserves the diverse range of Indiana poetry for future generations of Indiana writers and readers. It is the result of a collaboration between former Indiana Poet Laureate Adrian Matejka, the Indiana State Library, and the Indiana Arts Commission." according to the Indiana Arts Commission.
Cruz's Poem, "The Blue Bird," was selected as part of this year's "Celebration of Spring".
It was written based on his experiences on a Lake James Channel in Steuben County.
