Vehicle Crashes Due To Blown Tire

BUTLER TOWNSHIP – A blown tire is said to be the cause of a one vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Branch County’s Butler Township.
According to the Michigan State Police, the incident happened just after 5:30 PM Wednesday in the 1100 block of Clarendon Road, south of Herricksville Road.
A vehicle carrying three people had a tire blow, then it went off the road, down an embankment and struck a tree.
The three individuals were all taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Quincy, Tekonsha and Hillsdale-Litchfield Fire Departments along with Life Care Ambulance.
