DEKALB COUNTY - A motorcycle collided with a car early on the morning of Wednesday, August 16.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's office stated at around 5:45 a.m. Zechariah Kleeman, 42 of Garrett was driving southbound through the intersection S.R. 327 and S.R. 205.

Kevin Martz, 55, of Churubusco was driving eastbound on S.R. 205 when he failed to give the right of way to Kleeman.

Martz's vehicle struck Kleeman's motorcycle.

Kleeman sustained a broken leg and was transported to a nearby hospital for immediate care.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Garrett Police Department, the Laotto Fire Department and the Parkview EMS.
