House Fire Under Investigation In Coldwater

COLDWATER FIRE DEPARTMENT
COLDWATER, MI – Authorities are still trying to find the cause of a house fire that happened Saturday in Coldwater.
The Coldwater Fire Department was called out to 165 Waterman Avenue just after 7:30 PM Saturday for a house fire. When firefighters entered the house, they found the blaze was contained to an upstairs bedroom, and they were able to put it out in about 15 minutes.
Coldwater Fire Marshall Steve Trall says damage estimates stand at $15,000 to the structure and $10,000 to the contents.
The Quincy Fire Department, the Coldwater Police Department, Michigan Gas and Life Care Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
