ANGOLA - A housefire took place during the early morning hours of Saturday, July 29 on Crooked Lake.

The fire occurred between the hours of 3 and 4 a.m. on the northside of Crooked Lake off of Shady Side Road near Sycamore Beach.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been released.

The Angola Fire Department announced on a post on Facebook their gratitude for their support from emergency departments from Steuben, LaGrange and DeKalb Counties.
