ANGOLA - The Angola City Police Department is proactively increasing their police presence at all Angola public parks to ensure the public’s safety.

An announcement made on Friday by the Angola Police Department on Facebook explained multiple reports over the last several months of both juveniles and young adults taking part in alleged criminal activities led to the decision to increase patrols.

The announcement stated the Angola Police Department, the Angola Mayor's Office and the Angola Parks Department are all, “dedicated to providing a safe, fun and clean environment,” for all visitors to Angola parks.

The Angola Police Department also asked the public to report any, “suspicious, dangerous, or obscene behavior," to the Angola Police Department at 260-665-2121 or call 9-1-1.
