Authorities Searching For Vandals That Damaged Bronson Cemetery

BRONSON, MI – Authorities are still searching for the person or persons that
damaged a Bronson cemetery.

Officials with the Michigan State Police Post in Marshall say they were called to St. Mary’s Cemetery at 375 Orland Road at 2:15 AM Saturday for what was reported to be a personal injury accident. Troopers were joined by the Bronson Police and Fire Departments along with Life Care Ambulance.

MSP officials say further investigation by authorities discovered approximately 24 grave markers had been destroyed or knocked down. In addition, several tire tracks were found in the cemetery.

No other information has been released, as this is an active investigation.
The cemetery is operated by St. Mary’s Assumption Church in Bronson.
