After a morning chance of showers across northwest Indiana, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop this afternoon.

The National Weather Service says an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm is possible this afternoon into early this evening. The main potential threats would be isolated damaging wind gusts and isolated large hail, but forecast confidence remains low.

Locally heavy downpours are also possible.

Dry conditions Tuesday to Thursday with temperatures warming well above normal by Thursday.
