Kiwanis Annual Pancake Breakfast Set For This Saturday
By: Sheila McCrea - Wednesday, April 26, 2023

ANGOLA — The 101 Lakes Kiwanis Club’s annual pancake breakfast will be held Saturday from 8-11 a.m. at the Heritage Club, located at 1905 Wohlert Street in Angola.

The Kiwanis Club welcomes the community to support its breakfast as all proceeds go back in the community to assist children and various nonprofits that serve Steuben County.

Some of the beneficiaries include scholarships for local high school seniors, as well as contributions to the Key clubs at Angola and Fremont high schools. The Kiwanis club is known for their support of local youth, but also contribute to numerous community nonprofit organizations.

Among the many ways to promote the growth of youth locally, they fund the Bring Up Grades programs at Fremont and Prairie Heights elementary schools, and sponsor the middle school awards at Fremont, Hamilton, Prairie Heights and Angola middle schools.

Saturday’s pancake breakfast is a free will donation, with proceeds, supporting the Kiwanis pledge to give back to the community, especially youth.
