ORLAND, IN - Windy weather conditions Tuesday night in the northwestern portion of Steuben County were working against emergency crews who responded to a residential structure fire.

According to officials with Orland Fire Department, crews were called to the 7000 Block of 650 West at aground 9 PM. First units on the scene found a mobile home on fire. All occupants of the residence were reportedly outside when emergency crews arrived.

The residence was a total loss.

In addition to the Orland Fire and Rescue, fire departments from Fremont, Salem, and Angola were also working at the scene. The Steuben County Sheriffs Department, Steuben County Communications, and Steuben County REMC also provided support.
