Troyer Retires From Sheriff’s Office After 28 Year Run

ANGOLA - After 25 plus years with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, Julie Troyer has officially punched her time card for the last time.

Troyer has served the Sheriff’s Department for 28 years. During that time she has worked under five Sheriffs including her husband Timothy Troyer who was Sheriff from 2011 thru 2018.

Troyer has worked in many facets of the Sheriff’s office, from confinement officer to office manager.

Her dedication and knowledge of both the Sheriffs Office and the County has been regarded highly by department officials.
