The National Weather Service says temperatures will trend hotter with increasing humidity.

Wednesday will be the hottest day this week. Forecasters warn that with higher humidity values the heat indices will approach 104 degrees in a few locations.

In addition, Rain and Thunderstorms will develop by Wednesday afternoon with an incoming cool front. Storms could become strong to possibly severe Wednesday afternoon/evening.

Some areas could see heavy downpours and localized ponding/flooding.

On Thursday rain and thunderstorm chances will remain high especially early in the day.

Expect cooler temperatures for Thursday and Friday.
