Royal Court Named For 2022 Polish Festival

BRONSON, Mich. – The 2022 and 52nd Bronson Polish Festival got underway last night with their Opening Ceremonies at the St. Mary’s Church Gym.

Part of the opening ceremonies is the naming of the Royal Court. This year’s Polish Festival King and Queen are Bryan Herman and Pam Hyska McConn; the Prince and Princess are Miles Losinski and Samantha Smoker; while the Jr. Prince and Jr. Princess are Houston Ratkowski and Avery Himebaugh.

Today’s activities include the Kiwanis pancake breakfast; Kids Day at Douglas Park; along with craft and food vendors in downtown Bronson.

This afternoon there will be inflatables starting at 1 PM in the Bronson Library parking lot; the kids pedal pull will also be in the library parking lot at 2 PM. There will live music in downtown Bronson with Jacob Mayer starting at 2 PM as well.

Bingo begins at 5 PM under the pavilion in downtown Bronson. The men’s softball tournament gets underway a 6 PM in Greenwald Park, while at 6:30 PM there will be a chip timed 5K race, 5K walk and kids fun run at Bronson High School.

At dusk there will be fireworks at Bronson High School. There will also be entertainment tonight at the Bronson Strike Zone, starting at 9:30 PM
