(LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a car-semi crash.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called to a personal injury crash at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon in LaGrange Township. 38 year old Raymond Greathouse of Dowagiac was driving north on M-62 near Kingsbury Street when he lost control of his car on the icy roadway. Greathouse crossed the center line and struck a semi, driven by 68 year old Robert Wenger of Wakarusa, Indiana.

Greathouse was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital by Pride Care Ambulance. Wenger was not injured. Both men were wearing their seatbelts.

The Cassopolis Area Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
