ANGOLA, IN - The Steuben County Auditor’s Office is making a extension for taxpayers.

The Steuben County Auditor’s Office will be extending the deadline for “In-Person Filing” of property tax deductions for the 2021 pay 2022 tax year up until the close of business on January 5th as a courtesy to the taxpayers of Steuben County. The extension was made due to the Steuben County Government Offices closing early last week on Thursday (December 30, 2021) and due to closing entirely on Friday (December 31, 2021) for the New Year’s Holiday.

Additionally, mail-in deduction applications that were signed and dated, on or before December 31, 2021 and post marked no later than January 5, 2022, shall be considered as an on time filing.
