Two People Arrested On Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

(GOSHEN) – A traffic stop led to the arrest of two people on drug and weapons charges.

Goshen Police Chief Jose Miller says his department conducted a traffic stop Monday near the intersection of Lincolnway East and College Avenue. The vehicle matched the description of one that had been involved in several catalytic converter thefts in the area.

While conducting the stop, officers located methamphetamine, paraphernalia and a stolen hand gun in the vehicle.

Officers arrested 30 year old Wiley Somers of South Bend on felony charges of possession of meth and possession of a hand gun by a convicted felon; along with a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia.

Also arrested was 44 year old Yolisdany Dominguez of Elkhart on a felony charge of possession of meth and a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia.
