The suspect was arrested on nine active warrants, along with charges of felony firearms, possession of stolen property and resisting and obstructing law enforcement. The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department and the Michigan State Police assisted at the scene.

The man is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail, pending arraignment in District Court.
