Impact Institute’s Marine Service Technology Receives Donation
By: Sheila McCrea - Wednesday, December 22, 2021

KENDALLVILLE, IN — Impact Institute’s Marine Service Technology has received a sizable donation.

As part of a recent acquisition of Barletta Boats in Bristol Indiana, new owners Winnebago allocated funds for each of their dealers to donate to local non-profits or charities as long as the dealerships matched those funds.

Cory, Terry and Chris Archbold of Angola and co-owners of Dry Dock Marine Center jumped on the opportunity to match the funds and give. Collectively, they believe Impact Institute’s Marine Service Technology program “has been a great asset,” especially to their business. They feel the Impact program “provides a much-needed service for the youth” in the community.

The combined amount of the donation, which totals $10,000, will go toward furthering Impact’s commitment to creating career ready high school students from across northeast Indiana.
