On Saturday a joint training day took place with firefighters from Lagrange, Noble, and Steuben counties.

Roughly 40 firefighters and 10 fire departments were present. A classroom portion followed by hands on skills were covered for topics including grain bin construction, grain bin extrication, auger entanglement, farm safety, and other emergency related farm incidents.

The training was conducted by Stateline Farm Rescue.
