Three Compete for the Miss Steuben County Title; Fair Officially Starts Friday

CROOKED LAKE — Three area women have completed in the competition portion for this year’s Miss Steuben County competition.

On Thursday night Katie Stoy, Grace Emberton, and Alexis Treesh all completed in the Miss Steuben County 2021 competition in front of an audience and three judges. One of them will be crowned the new Miss Steuben County Friday night at the fair.

The crowning ceremony will take place just after 6 PM on the Rensch Hall stage at the Steuben County 4-H Fair Grounds. In addition to the Queen crowning, the Little Miss and Mr Steuben County contest will also take place.

After the first ever “virtual fair” last year, the Steuben County 4-H Fair is returning to Crooked Lake this Friday for “in-person” events and activities.

Friday evening will be the achievement awards at Remsch Hall.

At 7 p.m. Friday night is Truck and Tractor Pulls and the FREE concert featuring the band Mason Dixon Line.

Saturday at 9 a.m. is the 4-H Swine Show (at Rensch Hall).
