COLDWATER - A Three Rivers man was arraigned on Thursday in Branch County District Court on a pair of charges that were filed in connection with the theft of four rifles from a home on Shaffmaster Road in Bronson Township last June 11.

39-year-old Alexander Zuchnik is facing charges of Receiving and Concealing stolen firearms and Accessory After the Fact to a Felony. Zuchnik was charged following a Michigan State Police investigation. Court documents indicate he was one of two suspects in the case. Prosecutors also filed a fourth offense habitual offender sentencing enhancer following his convictions on drug charges in Kalamazoo and St. Joseph Counties between 2014 and 2019.

Bond during his arraignment was set at $25,000. A probable cause hearing was scheduled for next Thursday with a preliminary exam set for April 6.
