INDOT Holding A Hearing On S.R. 5 Project

LAGRANGE – A public hearing has been set to discuss the State Road 5 project in LaGrange County.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will hold the public hearing Thursday, March 25 from 5:30 to 7 PM, with the presentation set for 6 PM. The meeting will be at the Farmstead Expo Barn and Event Pavilion, located at 368 South Van Buren Street in Shipshewana. You can also watch online by going to Facebook, and then searching for the INDOT/Northeast page.

The project calls for the proposed resurfacing and widening of State Road 5. All project team members will be wearing face masks or coverings during the public meeting, and attendees are encouraged to do so. Attendees may make a public comment at the hearing; provide verbal comments to a court reporter; or may return or mail a comment form available at the public hearings and online.
