ANGOLA, IN - The Angola Fire Department and Metz Fire Department was dispatched to a grass/brush fire at t 1535 N 250 E.

While enroute fire units were advised that the fire had extended into some buildings on the property. First arriving unit had a large cornfield/grass fire with a garage fully engulfed, a shed partially engulfed with extension into the house. Mutual aid was requested from: Fremont Fire Department, Steuben Township F.D., Hamilton F.D., Northwest Township, Ashley-Hudson F.D., with Auburn F.D. on standby at Angola’s station.

Steuben County EMS and Steuben County Sheriff Department along with Angola Police Department assisted at the scene. Thanks to our 911 dispatchers.
