COLDWATER, MI – No serious injuries were reported after a pickup truck crashed into a house on Monday morning.

The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the we’re called to a residents on on Lake Drive near Warren Road at about 10:30 a.m. Reports indicate a male driver, identified as 74-year-old Allan Forrister of Coldwater, was heading north on Lake Drive when he lost control of his pickup truck going into a curve.

Authorities say he went off the road and struck the house. Forrister sustained an injury to his arm. A passenger, identified as 65-year-old Lynn Fleming of Coldwater, was not injured.

No one was home at the residence at the time of the incident.
