UNDATED – A Florida man died after being struck by a vehicle.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says a 17 year old Elkhart girl was driving a vehicle west on County Road 10 at 4:41 PM Saturday. As she approached the intersection of County Road 15, she struck 24 year old Tyler Carver of Jacksonville, Florida, who was riding a bicycle north on County Road 15 and turning west on County Road 10.

Carver was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries, where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
