Indiana county unemployment numbers were released on Monday afternoon, with statistics that show signs of improvement within Northeast Indiana.

For Steuben County the unemployment rate stood at 11.8%, as LaGrange County came in at 10.2%. However the numbers within Noble County and DeKalb County are not as promising as Noble came in with a 16.2% unemployment rate, and DeKalb came in at a rate of 14.2%.

The state of Indiana reported as a whole an average of 11.9% unemployment for the month of May.
