Sunday Night House Fire In Quincy

A Sunday night house fire in Quincy, Michigan is still under initial investigation.

The fire that broke out in an unoccupied dwelling in the Village of Quincy late Sunday night and is not considered to be suspicious in nature.

Quincy firefighters were dispatched to the fire located at 20 Wood Avenue at around 11:00 p.m. Sunday night.

According to Quincy Police, the home had been under construction for the last year-and-a-half and had been vacant for the last few years. Firefighters were on the scene for nearly four hours extinguishing the blaze.

More details about the cause of the fire are to be released this week.
