Southwest Michigan Reports 14 New COVID-19 Cases

There were 14 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Southern Michigan over the weekend.

The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency says St. Joseph
County has 9 new cases. That makes 206 people who have tested positive and there have been 3 deaths in the county.

In Branch County, there were 2 new cases of COVID-19 reported. 236 residents have the virus and there have been 2 deaths. There were no new cases of coronavirus in Hillsdale County. 172 people have tested positive for it and there have been 25 deaths.

The Michigan Department of Corrections says there were no new cases of
coronavirus at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater. That makes 39 staff members and 793 inmates who have tested positive. There have also been 23 inmate deaths.

In Cass County, there was 3 new cases of COVID-19, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. That makes 109 people who have been diagnosed with the virus, and there have been 4 deaths in Cass County.

Around Michigan, 401 new coronavirus cases were reported, making 61,230
people who have tested positive. There were also 23 more deaths reported, which means 5,846 individuals have died from COVID-19.
