ANGOLA, IN - RISE Inc. will soon have a new name change as they merge their services with Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana.

According to KPC Media, RISE Executive Director Chris Stackhouse and officials with Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana spoke on the matter at Angola Rotary’s meeting this week. The merger will reportedly happen July 1.

RISE Inc. was originally founded in 1965 as the Community Sheltered Workshop in the basement of Pleasant Lake Elementary School. As they have grown considerably since their start, they now serve disabled adults through a variety of services and locations.

Once the merger is complete, the new name of RISE Inc. will be Easterseals RISE. Officials say only their name is changing, assuring that their services will not change, and they will still focus on their existing services.
