One Person Airlifted After Two Vehicle Crash

BRONSON, MI – One person was flown from the scene following a two vehicle crash west of Bronson on Thursday afternoon.

According to Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber, the crash took place just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 12 and Deer Park Road. Chief Wilber said one person had to be extricated from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life.

Personal with the Bronson Fire Department set up a landing zone so one victim could be transported via West Michigan Air Care.

No other information on the crash is available at this time. The crash is being investigated by the Michigan State Police.

Wilber says his department was on the scene for about four hours. He said Lifecare Ambulance, the Branch County Sheriff’s Department, Bronson Police and the Branch County Road Commission were also dispatched to the scene.
