COVID-19 Cases Spike In Southern Michigan

57 new cases of COVID-19 were reported by The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency reported on its website Sunday, and reports are coming in that it all stems from one local company.

Health Officer Rebecca Burns stated that she was not quite ready to reveal the name of the company just yet but a joint news release maybe issued at a later time. Those who tested positive have to go into self-isolation for 14 days.

The new cases brought Branch County’s total number of coronavirus cases up to 221, the most of the three counties the Community Health Agency serves. There have been 171 cases in Hillsdale County with another 169 in St. Joseph County.
