Candidacy For Various Races In DeKalb County DeClared Wednesday

As the political races for 2020 continue to take shape, an Auburn attorney has filed to seek the Republican nomination for Judge of DeKalb Super Court 1, a position currently is held by Judge Kevin Wallace, who announced at the end of 2019 that he would not seeking reelection after serving on the bench since 1989.

Attorney Adam Squiller has filed to seek the seat, who has resided in and practiced law in DeKalb County for nearly 15 years.

In other races within the county, Larry L. Dove is seeking the Republican nomination for DeKalb County Commissioner-northeast district, Bob Krafft is seeking reelection to a DeKalb County Council at-large seat, Emily Jo Drayna is seeking election as a delegate to this year’s Republican state convention, and Dennis K. “Matthew” Kruse II is seeking election as Union 11 precinct committeeman.

Candidates have until Feb. 7 at noon to register for the various political races within the county.
