Northeastern Indiana CASA 5/21/24
Tuesday, May 21, 2024
Elizabeth Gilbert, Northeastern Indiana CASA Board Member, joins WLKI's Andy St. John to let you know about the need for volunteers to act as a voice for children in the court system.
Court-appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteers make a life-changing difference for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Each volunteer is appointed by a judge to advocate for a child. CASA volunteers help judges develop a fuller picture of each child’s life. Their advocacy enables judges to make the most well-informed decision for each child.
