Tri-Kappa Sorority Cheeseballs 11/6/23
Monday, November 6, 2023
Lisa Caudill joins WLKI's Andy St. John to tell us about the upcoming Tri-Kappa Sorority Cheeseball Sale.
▪ Tri Kappa Sorority- Zeta Upsilon Chapter in Angola will be selling their
“famous” handmade cheeseballs this Saturday, November 11 at the Sigma
Phi Gamma Boutique and Craft Show in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church
Parish Hall from 9:00 am-2:00 pm
▪ Cost is $8.00 per cheeseball. Proceeds from the sale of cheeseballs go toward supporting up to 40 organizations in and connected to Steuben County, including 4-5 scholarships to high school seniors. Each year Tri-Kappa in Angola donates approx. $20,000.00 back to the community.
▪ This year we are making approx. 4000 cheeseballs over a three day period.
3400 of these are pre-sold. We anticipate having roughly 600 cheeseballs
available at the Craft Show. Come early, they go very fast!!!
▪ They make excellent gifts, a quick appetizer to take to a party, and freeze
very well for up to a year!
A special thank you to Lake James Christian Assembly who provides us with
the use of their commercial kitchen to make our cheeseballs.
Tri Kappa was started in 1901 by 7 girls who attended the Girls Classical School in Indianapolis. Today, there are over 140 chapters throughout the state of Indiana. The Angola chapter was formed in 1975 and today has 37 active members and many associate members.
