Northeastern Center's Cory Headley and Mike Steigmeyer are with WLKI's Andy St. John to tell us October is Depression and Mental Health Awareness Screening Month. It's a way to continue to raise awareness about depression, mental health and the importance of mental health screenings.

Also, hear about The Northeastern Center's Trunk or Treat event that will take place on Friday, October 13.

If you know someone that needs help, please remember to approach with kindness and empathy. Everyone has a different story in life. Compassion can go a long way and make a difference.
